Precision Fabric Shearing for Consistent Nap
State-of-the-art shearing machines now achieve nap height accuracy within 0.01mm. Computerized optical sensors scan fabric piles before diamond-coated blades trim fibers to exact specifications. "Our multi-stage shearing process creates ultra-uniform surfaces," says production chief Alan Wright. The system automatically adjusts for different materials - from synthetic blends to natural mohair. Temperature-controlled rooms maintain fabric stability during processing. Each batch undergoes rigorous testing, with sheared samples measured under 10x magnification. Advanced systems can switch between 15 nap heights without manual reconfiguration, allowing flexible production scheduling.
